BMKG Forecasts Rain and Lightning Around Greater Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued a weather forecast for Jakarta and its neighboring regions for today, November 6, 2023. It states that some areas will experience rainfall this afternoon.
However, it will be partly sunny in Jakarta throughout the day, with no expected rainfall. The air temperature in the capital will range from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels between 55 and 95 percent.
The agency has not issued any early weather warnings for Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Jakarta’s neighbors
In contrast to Jakarta, Bogor City was predicted to experience thunderstorms during the day, with light rain expected at night.
There is also a likelihood of light-intensity rain in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, in the afternoon, as well as in Depok City and Bekasi City. Meanwhile, no rain is expected in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.
In the Tangerang area, BMKG reported that today’s weather will be cloudy throughout the day, but light rain is possible in Serpong of South Tangerang and Tigaraksa of Tangerang Regency in the afternoon, between partly cloudy morning and evening.
