World Bank Appreciates P3PD Implementation

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The World Bank appreciates the Strengthening Village Governance and Development Programme (P3PD) in 2023, which is considered to have improved compared to the previous year.
This was conveyed by the World Bank P3PD Task Team Leader Jessica Ludwiig, during the P3PD program stakeholder steering committee support meeting in order to discuss the performance evaluation of components 1, 2, and 3 and explanatory notes, at the Novotel Mangga Dua Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, October 10, 2023.
According to Jessica, compared to the previous year's performance, in 2023, the P3PD has been running well and the budget absorption is higher.
"Thank you for the commitment from the Indonesian government for P3PD, we have had a meeting, the budget absorption in 2023 has greatly increased, many activities have been carried out and it is extraordinary compared to the previous year," said Jessica.
Although it has gone well, according to Jessica, there is still some room for improvement.
"There are still some things missing from P3PD and notes on the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) issue, then there are several indicators that cannot actually be measured, and the delay in this running project," said Jessica.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Central Project Management Unit (CPMU) P3PD who is also the Director of Facilitation for LKAD, PKK, and Posyandu of the Ministry of Home Affairs Chaerul Dwi Sapta explained that P3PD 2023 went well because of the support of various parties.
He hopes that the implementation of P3PD in 2023 can run on schedule.
During the meeting, Chaerul also mentioned several important things for the implementation of P3PD in the future.
"Among them is to immediately accelerate the budget absorption and evaluation of the implementation of face-to-face training in 2023," said Chaerul.
"Preparation for face-to-face training in 2024, LMS preparation for 2024, and LMS governance in the regions. Preparation of Siskeudes, redesign and reengineering of Prodeskel, and realization of achieved KPI indicators," said Chaerul.
