TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT KCI and PT KAI Jakarta are adjusting the train trip chart (GAPEKA) from November 1. The adjustment will affect the maximum speed of the train, the acceleration of the traveling time, and the schedule of the KRL Bogor.
"The adjustment is in line with the development of an improved facility and infrastructure on the Bogor-Manggarai route," said VP Corporate Secretary KCI Anne Purba in a written statement on Monday.
The maximum speed of the train is increased from 70 kilometers per hour to 80 kilometers per hour. Thus, the traveling time from Bogor-Manggarai/Jakarta Kota is reduced by 7 to 8 minutes, cutting of the trip of Bogor-Jakarta from 92 minutes to 85 minutes. "While the trip from Bogor-Manggarai is reduced from 70 minutes to 62 minutes," she said.
Anne urged the passengers to pay more attention to the trip schedule on KRL Bogor, especially the Bogor-Jakarta Kota route. The trip schedules are shifting 1 to 5 minutes at all stops. KCI also added two more trips in the morning from Bogor Station, namely at 05:25 a.m. local time and 05:50 local time.
"Passengers may see the newest schedule at the C-Access application," Anne said. "The newest schedule is also available at commuterline.id official website of KAI Commuter's official social media account at @commuterline."
PT KCI management also warned people to be vigilant while crossing the railways at the Bogor-Manggarai route to ensure safety. Immediately stop if the railway doorstop is closing, Anne said.
