BMKG: Light Rain to Shower Bogor Again; Partly Cloudy in Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After long days of bright, clear skies, a few clouds will hang over the Jakarta skyline today, October 23. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported in its weather forecast that partly sunny weather will last throughout the day in several capital areas, namely Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands.
Meanwhile, West Jakarta and South Jakarta will have cloudy skies this afternoon and evening. Only East Jakarta’s weather will have cloudy skies during the day and partly cloudy skies at night. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius.
This morning, the weather for Jakarta’s neighboring regions will vary. Bekasi and Bogor City will have sunny skies with no clouds. Cibinong in Bogor Regency and Depok will have partly sunny skies. Tangerang City, Serpong of South Tangerang, and Tigaraksa of Tangerang Regency will all be cloudy.
In the afternoon, sunny skies will be over Depok City, causing hot weather. Whereas, light rain will shower Bogor City. Cibinong and Bekasi will be partly cloudy, and Greater Tangerang will be cloudy.
The cloudy weather in Greater Tangerang was expected to continue until night, while other regions will be partly cloudy.
BMKG also reported today's air temperature. The highest temperature was predicted to reach 35 degrees Celsius in Bekasi. In Depok, Tangerang City, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency, the air temperature will be up to 34 degrees Celsius.
