TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's team of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) examined three witnesses in the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) corruption case from 2015 to 2022. The witnesses—SS, FYJ and J—were questioned at around 09:00, officials said.

"The witness examination was carried out to reinforce evidence and complete the filing in the case in question," the AGO's head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum), Ketut Sumedana, said on Friday, September 22.

Ketut said that witness SS is the head of Finance Division at the Indonesia Heritage Foundation (IHF) while witness FYJ is the same foundation's director of Education, R&D, and Finance. Meanwhile, J is the Management of the Indonesian National Shipowners Association (INSA).

"This case is under ongoing investigation. We cannot say the exact amount of state loss yet," he said when asked how much state loss was incurred by the alleged corruption.

Previously, Ketut said that the AGO had searched and examined 15 witnesses in this case. "This is a new case that we began investigating on September 7. We have investigated searches, but we cannot reveal the details. We must now wait for the next hearing and the naming of suspects," he said on Tuesday, September 19.
