2 INKA Technicians Standby on LRT Jabodebek Train to Address Technical Issues

TEMPO.CO, Madiun - Indonesian rail manufacturer PT INKA (Persero) deployed two technicians to stand by on each LRT Jabodebek trainset to immediately address troubles in case of technical issues.
PT INKA's senior manager of public relations, Agung Dwi Cahyono, said that the placement of two technicians was one of the attempts to ensure the smooth operation of the LRT. The technicians would be on standby on the trainset until the entire system runs smoothly.
"We're committed to ensuring the reliability of the LRT Jabodebek to provide the best service for the public," he said on Friday, September 2, 2023.
Agung stated that standard operational procedures related to after-sales products and a special technical team were PT INKA's commitment. In addition, they are committed to improving services during the operation to serve passengers.
Technically, he went on, LRT Jabodebek was designed with components that use sensors and are commanded automatically. In terms of operations, it is acknowledged that adjustments still need to be made regarding the entire operating system on the LRT, so that operations can run smoothly.
"The design has met the standards and feasibility, as well as referred to regulations issued by the relevant ministries," said Agung.
In addition, adjustments to the braking system continue to be carried out regularly to ensure the safety aspects of the Jabodebek LRT facility.
