TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian crypto exchange, Commodity Futures Exchange or CFX, said that 23 prospective traders have been registered at the crypto exchange.
"I need to convey this that today’s optimism has been incredible as 23 of 30 prospective crypto asset traders have been registered," said CFX president director, Subani, during the launching event of the crypto exchange in Jakarta on Friday, July 28.
The 23 would-be crypto traders include Ajaib Kripto, Triv, Nanovest, Naga Exchange, Bitwewe, DEX, REKU, Pintu, Cyra, Galad Exchange. As well as Gudang Kripto, NVX, KMK, INDODAX, Pluang, Vonix, Zipmex, Luno, Mobee, Upbit, Tokocrypto, Stockbit Crypto, and MAX.
Meanwhile, the head of Futures and Commodity Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti), Didid Noordiatmoko, said that the crypto exchange has officially been established through Decree No. 01/BAPPEBTI/SP-BBAK/07/2023 dated July 17, 2023.
"Well, the regulation states that one month after the establishment of the exchange, at least, they (the would-be crypto traders) must have registered with the exchange," he explained. Then the proof of registration must be brought to Bappebti which will revoke the 'prospective or would-be' status to be officially registered as traders at the crypto exchange.
Didid hopes that all 30 would-be traders register themselves to the exchange. “As I said previously, my hope is that the trading can be started within a month," he said.
