LANY, Rain to Perform in XYZ Festival 2023 Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, JakartaMusic promoter Sound Rhythm announces LANY, Rain, The Japanese House, and J-Rocks as the line-up for the inaugural XYZ Festival 2023, slated to be held at X-Drive In of Ancol Dreamland Park (TMII), Jakarta, on Saturday, August 26.

The summer music festival will feature a diverse line-up of musical genres from renowned musicians of old and current times. 

Performers of XYZ Festival 2023

LANY is an American pop rock band LANY consisting of Paul Jason Klein (lead vocals, piano, keyboards, and guitar) and Jake Clifford Goss (drums, percussion, and samples). The band has released three top 40 albums: LANY (2017), Malibu Nights (2018), and Mama's Boy (2020), as well as a slew of singles with its most successful one being "ILYSB" (2015).

Jung Ji Hoon, also known as Rain, is a South Korean singer and actor. Throughout his musical career, Rain has released seven albums and 28 singles and held a number of world tours. As an actor, Rain is popular for his drama Full House (2004) and most recently Ghost Doctor (2022).

The Japanese House is an English indie pop musician from Buckinghamshire. The woman whose real name is Amber Mary Bain acts as a vocalist and plays guitar, synthesizer, and keyboard. She began her solo project, the Japanese House, in 2012, after being introduced to Matty Healy.

J-Rocks is an Indonesian rock band formed in 2003. Heavily influenced by Japanese rock bands, J-Rocks is the first Indonesian band to have recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road studios in the United Kingdom.

Local and international musicians to enliven XYZ Festival 2023 

The upcoming festival will be enlivened by local and international performers and a wide selection of food and drinks. The lineup for the next phase will be announced in the near future.

“Let's together celebrate, enjoy, and fully spend the weekend only at XYZ Festival 2023. We believe anyone has the right to be happy, everyone has the same rights without exception. This event is presented and organized by Sound Rhythm for entertainment lovers to get their best experience in a music festival,” as quoted from the promoter’s statement received by Tempo on Thursday, July 27, 2023.

Tickets for XYZ Festival 2023 

Limited presale tickets will be available for purchase on the official website of XYZ-Fest.com starting Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 10:00 Jakarta time. The ticket price is Rp1,5 million, excluding government tax and other applicable taxes.
