IDX Unsuspends Waskita Karya Shares from Trading

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Stock Exchange or IDX has officially unsuspended the shares of state-owned construction issuer Waskita Karya (WSKT) in Jakarta on Friday, March 3, 2023. According to the IDX's disclosure of information, the trading of all securities related to Waskita —from stocks, bonds to sukuk — has been reopened.
"The Exchange hereby announces the opening of the temporary suspension of trading in securities (Waskita Karya)," the announcement said.
Waskita-related securities that have been unsuspended are WSKT, WSKT03BCN2, WSKT03BCN3, WSKT03BCN4, WSKT04CN1, WSKT03A, WSKT03B, WSKT04A, WSKT04B, SMWSKT01A, and SMWSKT01B.
The IDX suspended Waskita shares from trading on February 16, with regards to the postponement of the 15th interest payment of Waskita Karya Sustainable Bonds III Phase IV Year 2019 Series B.
"The opening of the suspension will be carried out after the cause of the suspension has been resolved by the company," IDX director of corporate assessment I Gede Nyoman Yetna Setia said last month.
In Q3/2022, Waskita posted a net profit increase of 766.6 percent (yoy) to Rp578.17 billion. From January to September last year, the company booked Rp10.30 trillion in revenue, a 44.61 percent (yoy) growth.
