TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ngabila Salama, head of Epidemiological Surveillance and Immunization Unit at the Jakarta Health Office, said that the city is running out of stock of the Covid vaccine. There are only several hundreds of dosages left in five health facilities in the capital.
"There is only a few left," Ngabila said on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Those five facilities are the Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) of Gambir District, Kelapa Gading District, Kramat Jati and Jatinegara, and the Covid-19 Vaccination Center at Pegangsaan Dua LRT Station.
Ngabila said the only brands of vaccines left are Pfizer and Sinovac; consisting of the first, second, and third (booster) doses.
The Jakarta Health Office is currently still waiting for the delivery of Covid-19 vaccine supply from the Health Ministry. They hope there will be further regulation if there is an adjustment to the types of vaccine to be administered.
