TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta-owned bus operator Transportation Jakarta or TransJakarta decided to extend the operating hours in four bus routes starting Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Head of Transjakarta’s Corporate Secretary, Anang Rizkani Noor, outlined that the four lines are Senen – Tanah Abang (1R), Manggarai Station – Blok M (6M), Kebayoran Lama – Jelambar (9E), and Ciputat – Tosari (S21).
“The four routes will operate from 05:00 until 22:00 WIB (western Indonesian time) from initially serving customers only during peak hours,” said Anangin Jakarta, Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Anang added that the extension of service hours was expected to optimize service for customers who regularly access these routes.
“We will adjust operating hours on other routes that are still operating at certain hours. Hopefully, community mobility can be fully served, safely and comfortably,” Anang added.
He further encouraged the public using the Transjakarta bus services to comply with all health protocols amid the lingering COVID-19 pandemic.
