Jakarta Has Administered 2.7 Million Booster Shots To Date

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Health Agency up to Monday, April 4, had administered booster vaccine shots to 2,744,707 people in total as the city has made it easily accessible to capital city residents and non-residents to obtain the booster shots by registering via JAKI application or the website corona.jakarta.go.id/vaksinasi.
Through online registration, participants are enabled to take online pre-screening tests and pick their own schedule and location for vaccination complete with the directions to the chosen location.
People registered for the first dose of vaccination amount to 12,477,551 or 123.7 percent with 70 percent of them being Jakarta residents. Meanwhile, second dose vaccinations in total amount to 10,575,360 people or 104.9 percent with 73 percent of Jakarta residents as recipients.
The health agency’s head of disease prevention and control Dwi Oktavia said the number of active cases in Jakarta as of Monday, April 4 had dropped by 256 cases with current active cases amounting to 5,246.
