Bajaj, Husqvarna to Produce Electric Motorcycles Starting June 2022

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - India's motorcycle company, Bajaj, will collaborate with Husqvarna to produce electric motorcycle called "Vektorr" and is scheduled to enter the production line on June 2022.
As quoted from Rideapart on Tuesday, December 4, Bajaj has made US$ 40 million for a new production facilities. The new factory stands on top of 46.451 square metre of land with yearly production up to 500.000 unit.
Expected to be opened in June 2022, the factory will start producing the motorcyle all the way from the fabrication, assembling, painting to quality test.
Currently, there has not been any information yet regarding the model that will be produced, however the new factory is predicted to produce Bajaj Chetak.
In addition, there will be another models that will be produced and is said to have a cheap pricetag on it. Bajaj newest motorcycles is planned to be marketed in local areas as well as exported to countries in Asia and Europe.
