Jokowi Monitors Covid-19 Vaccination in Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia

TEMPO.CO, JakartaPresident Joko "Jokowi" Widodo today, May 3, monitored the Covid-19 vaccination program for business players in Thamrin City and Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta.

“This morning, I inspected the vaccination program held in Thamrin City and Grand Indonesia for all shop attendants and those who work in shopping areas and malls can all be vaccinated,” said the President as broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube channel on Monday, May 3, 2021.

He hoped that the national vaccination program could suppress, reduce, and eliminate the spread of Covid-19 in the country. In addition, he constantly reminded the public to adhere to the predetermined health protocols.

“I'd like to call all people to always wear face masks wherever we go,” the state head remarked.

On today’s agenda, President Jokowi was accompanied by a number of state officials. Among them were Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Cabinet Secretary Minister Pramono Anung, and Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
