TEMPO Interactive : Pertamina said to operate additional tankers to distribute fuel during Idul Fitri holidays in Central Java and Yogyakarta.
The marketing division manager for retail fuel for Central Java and Yogyakarta, Nur Hadia said the state oil company will dispatch 30 extra tankers to distribute more fuel from Pertamina depot in Rewulu, Pengampon, Tegal and Boyolali.
With the additional tankers Pertamina aim provide fuel stocks in several locations along the holiday traffic main routes in Central Java such as Brebes, Tegal, Pekalongan, Jepara, Kendal, Demak, Purworejo, Ambarketawang (Sleman), Mertoyudan dan Secang (Magelang).
The additional tankers were partly came from the existing tankers used to distribute diesel fuel as demand on diesel fuel, according to Pertamina, is not rising as high as demand on gasoline during the holiday season.
But Nur said pertamina is not going to add the fuel stock volume for the holiday season.
