TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Siloam Hospitals Group and Lippo Malls Indonesia are offering the public drive-thru coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid test services across multiple locations, such as in Puri in West Jakarta, Kemang in South Jakarta, and Meikarta in Cikarang.

The drive-thru COVID-19 rapid tests are scheduled to be held from April 17-30 from 08:00-10:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) and will cost up to Rp489,000 for a single service.

“The drive-thru rapid tests enable the public to partake in a COVID-19 screening much quicker, simple, and it is a safe way to minimize physical contact between the [healthcare workers conducting the testing] and the patients,” said the deputy president director of Siloam Hospitals Group, Caroline Riady, on Friday, “You can [be tested] without having to exit your vehicle.”

The cost charged to customers also includes a free online consultation session with a Siloam Hospitals general practitioner.

According to the hospital's management, people who want to register in the coronavirus test can simply come to the specified locations at Puri Abadi Street, Gate 9, beside the Lippo Mall Puri; the entrance access to Kemang Village from Antasari Street; and the Maxx Box Orange County open field beside the Meikarta Convention Center.

Those intent on taking the COVID-19 rapid test only need to register their personal data via the Whatsapp contact number displayed in each location. Payments can be done digitally via digital wallets OVO or QRIS.

If results come back positive, participants will be asked to partake in a PCR swab test. A follow-up test will also be retaken 7-10 days after the results of the last test.
