TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police Chief of Public Relation Sr. Commissioner Argo Yuwono said all of the Jakarta Resort Police ranks would carry out a patrol following the 4th presidential debate, which will be held tonight at Shari-La Hotel, Central Jakarta.

Argo said the patrol was aimed at preventing unwanted events during the establishment of the election debate. "[This is] a joint patrol between TNI (Indonesian Military) and the Police, which will add extra personnel in each Police Resort," he said in a short message on Saturday, March 30.

The patrol would be conducted in the jurisdiction of each Resort Police, Argo went on, adding that his institution would work with the local Military District Command (Kodim). The Jakarta Metro Police would deploy at least 5,000 joint personnel spread in four rings, including at the debate room.

The fourth presidential debate will only have the presidential candidates; Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and Prabowo Subianto. The debate's theme will be focused on ideology, government, security, and defense, as well as international relationships.
