TEMPO.CO, Depok - Head of Depok Land Transportation Agency Anton Tofani Muharraam said his side had prepared special route of city minivan or commonly known as angkot Mikrolet 102 as the feeder of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) in Lebak Bulu Station.
The route will pass Sawangan Terminal-Limo-Cinere-Lebak Bulus. The feeder for Light Rail Transit Station, meanwhile, Anton added, would be accommodated by Mikrolet 79 (Cisalak-Leuwi Nanggung) and Angkot 97 (Cisalak-Taman Bunga Cibubur). Both routes are cross-border transportation.
“BPTJ (the greater Jakarta transportation agency) will issue the permit. Previously, there is Transjakarta bus that serves Depok Terminal-Cijago-Cawang passing Cibubur Junction,” Anton added.
According to Anton, local angkot number D17 in Depok city that will serve the route to Wiladatika Station, passing Jatijajar Terminal, Cilangkap, Banjaran Pucung, Bhakti Abri, Cibubur Junction, and Raffles Hill.
“Central government and LRT management must help to build the bus stop for passengers to board or alight from a bus,” Anton underlined. “Otherwise, heavy traffic in Cibubur Junction will be more crowded.”
The MRT Phase I with the route of Lebak Bulus-Hotel Indonesia Roundabout is targeted to operational in March 2019, while the LRT will be operable in January.
Based on the passenger survey initiated by PT MRT Jakarta last year, potential daily passengers of MRT could reach 134,000 people.
