Jokowi Visits Aceh to Disseminate Priority Use of Village Fund

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko `Jokowi` Widodo along with First Lady Iriana is on a working visit to Aceh today, December 14. The president and his entourage have arrived in the province since last night.
“During his visit, President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana have several agenda,” said Bey Machmudin, deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media for the Presidential Secretariat, through a written statement.
Bey explained the President will disseminate the use of the 2019 village fund to the community and will launch several national strategic projects. “All activities will start on Friday, December 14.”
The president and the entourage will also visit two other provinces; Riau and Jambi, for the next four days.
Jokowi, Iriana, and the entourage have arrived on Thursday, December 13, at 22:25 local time in International Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Banda Aceh city, departing from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base on board the Indonesia-1 presidential airplane at 19:45 local time.
The entourage of President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana en route to Aceh Province are Public Works and Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, head of Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Air Vice Marshall Trisno Hendradi, the Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres) commander May. Gen. Suhartono, and Presidential Special Staff Abdul Ghofar Rozin.
