TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said the National Transportation Safety Commission (KNKT) would publish the investigation results of the Lion Air JT 610 crash in at least six months.
“I asked the KNKT about how long the process took place. Indeed, it was quite long; at least six months, since there are several processes to carry,” Budi said in Jakarta, Friday, November 2.

The KNKT, the minister went on, was currently focusing on the search for the second black box of Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). “The FDR (Flight Data Recorder) has been found, the CVR has not, we are waiting and expecting that it will be found in 1-2 days,” he said.
Budi said the KNKT would also request the data from the manufacturer, Boeing, to complete the investigation material.
The KNKT has met with Boeing to design the investigation process of the Lion Air plane crash, including the assistance in technical matters.
