Brawl between Indonesian Army, Police Leaves One Injured

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Shootings between the Indonesian Army and Police Car Brigade (Brimob) at the Brimob Command Headquarter, Batam, Riau Island, had injured at least one army personnel. The victim were rushed to Embung Fatimah Hospital, Batam, to be treated.
The unknown victim arrived in the ICU at 10:30pm on Wednesday, November 19. Several military personnel guarded the ICU room when Tempo arrived.
The clash began when two Yonif-134 personnels met two Brimob personnels in a gas station. Started by a stare and ended up with a quarrel.
The two army personnel held a grudge and brought 30 of his friends to attack Brimob Headquarter. Two rooms were wrecked from the attack. Gun fires were heard between 08:00pm to 10:30pm.
