TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two days after the series of suicide bombings in three Churches and a police headquarter in Surabaya, anti-terror special ops unit Densus 88 managed to arrest 13 people affiliated with the terrorist group Jemaah Ansarut Daulah (JAD).

“13 in total were arrested, two were killed,” said Indonesian National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Setyo Wasisto at his office in South Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to Setyo, the suspected JAD terrorist members that were arrested comprised of funds holder and bomb assembler. During an earlier raid, police also managed to confiscate several evidences such as explosive devices that were ready to be used.

“Investigators also found a bag full of explosive materials that were ready to be assembled,” Setyo revealed.

One of the terrorists that police had to neutralize was Budi Satrio, who is strongly considered to be responsible for managing the group’s funds. The other suspected terrorist that was executed by the police was Wicang or F.
