TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Administration is still considering the profit and loss should the city let go beer company PT Delta Djakarta share as conveyed by Anies Baswedan in his campaign promise.
Jakarta Financial Management Agency (BPAD) Head Michael Rolandi admitted the plan on the share divestment was one of Anies Baswedan's promise during his campaign. “The plan is Mr. Governor’s statement,” said Michael in the City Hall, Monday, April 9.
However, Michael could not ensure the realization. “I did not say [Jakarta administration] will let go the share,” he said.
The divestment plan of the city administration share in PT Delta Djakarta was brought up during the campaign of Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno in the gubernatorial election last year. Anies stated he wanted to obtain regional income from halal way, based on Islamic sharia.

Jakarta Provincial Government has invested in PT Delta Djakarta since 1970 and has 26.25 share which 2.91 percent of them owned by BP IPM Jaya under the city administration. The company is an alcohol drink producer with its brand Anker, Carlsberg, Kuda Putih, and San Miguel.
Michael mentioned the paid dividends for the city amounted to Rp37 million. He went on to say that Jakarta administration has yet discussed the matter with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). “We have not officially talked about it yet [with OJK]. We will discuss it later,” he added.
PT Delta Djakarta is scheduled to hold the shareholder meeting on April 25. According to PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) data, the plan of share divestment as conveyed by Anies Baswedan is not listed in the latter agenda.
