Police Nab Drug Dealer in Hideout

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jambi Narcotics Police arrested a drug dealer hiding in his house in narcotics village area in Jambi.

The arrested suspect is Jansen Nainggolan, known asUcok (30), a resident of Lingkar Timur I Street Talang Bakung sub-district, South Jambi SelatanDistrict, Jambi Police spokesperson Brigadier Alamsyah Amir on Sunday (21/1).

The suspect was arrested on Saturday evening (21/1)at around 6 p.m. while he was staying in his house along with 2 packets of 0.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine as evidence.

Alamsyah Amir said the suspect was arrested in Kampung Baru Street, Legok sub-district, Danau Sipin District known better as narcotics village. The Police received a tip-off that narcotics was distributed in that district.

At 5 p.m., the police began investigation and at 6 p.m. the police raided Ucok’s house based on the tip-off.

The Police is currently conducting further investigation into the case.
