Govt to Decide Jakarta Bay Reclamation Continuity Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The continuity of the Jakarta Bay reclamation project will be decided today in a ministerial coordination meeting. Jakarta Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat will attend a meeting that will be held at the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs office.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 09:00 am, said Environment and Forestry Minister Siti Nurbaya yesterday.

Other state officials scheduled to attend the meeting are Public Works and Public Housing Minister Basuki Hadimulyono, Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Bambang Brodjonegoro, and Marine Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti.
The meeting's agenda is related to a statement made by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan last week. Luhut said that he would hold a meeting to decide whether the moratorium could be lifted or not. The meeting will also discuss the options of technical scenarios.
