TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno has promised a gift to any Jakartan able to capture the best photo of the total lunar eclipse later at dawn.
“Jakartans are welcome to take a photo of it and send it to the Jakarta Smart City,” said Sandiaga at Monas Square, Central Jakarta on Friday, July 27.
Sandiaga, however, said he did not know yet the kind of prize for the winner. “The prize is still being discussed, if it is from me, I will directly give it,” he said, laughing.

The upcoming total lunar eclipse is a rare natural phenomenon. The phase of the eclipse, which begins at 01:24 a.m. and ends at 05:19 a.m., will become the longest eclipse in the 21st century.
“There is an instruction for people to prepare this beautiful moment to be documented,” he said.

“It’s five o'clock in the morning before dawn prayer, I can see it,” said Sandiaga Uno.
