TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State airport operator Angkasa Pura II (AP 2) will help tobacco company Gudang Garam design an airport in Kediri, East Java. The airport`s construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Gudang Garam is the investor in the project, which will become Kediri's first ever airport.

AP2 has also been requested to be the operator of Kediri airport, which will be fully built by Gudang Garam.
AP2 president director will Muhammad Awaluddin said they will help Gudang Garam study two design plans.
"The first is the detail engineering design (DED)," he said in Jakarta, Thursday, April 5.
