TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The defendant of Setya Novanto's investigation blocking, advocate Fredrich Yunadi, will undergo a follow-up trial again at the Corruption Crime Court, Central Jakarta, today, Thursday, April 5.
The prosecutor of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Takdir Suhan will present Yunadi's subordinate who is also an advocate.
"The witness is Ahmad Rudyansyah, Fredrich Yunadi's subordinate," said Takdir on Thursday, April 5.
Rudyansyah works at the Yunadi & Associated law office. At the trial of the defendant Bimanesh Sutarjo on April 2, he admitted Yunadi ordered him to inspect the VIP room that would be used by Setya.
Besides Ahmad, Takdir said the prosecutor would also present Indri Astuti, a nurse at Medika Hospital and two security officers namely Abdul Aziz and Mansur.
Both also testified for Bimanesh. From the witnesses, the prosecutor wanted to know their meeting with Yunadi at Medika Permata Hijau Hospital, West Jakarta.
Yunadi and Bimanesh Sutarjo became the suspects on Wednesday, January 10. The KPK assigned both as the suspected of blocking the investigation.
The investigators suspected Yunadi ordered a VIP treatment room before the car driven by Hilman Mattauch and boarded by Setya crashed into a power pole. As for Bimanesh, he was accused of manipulating Setya’s health data.
Fredrich Yunadi and Bimanesh Sutarjo were charged with violating Article 21 of Law No. 31/1999 as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on the Eradication of Corruption under Article 55 (1) of the Criminal Code.
