Batik Air Provides Flight from Jakarta to Support Belitung Touris

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A low-cost airliner from Lion Air Group, Batik Air, expanded its service by providing the Jakarta - Belitung route starting on March 29.
“We appreciate the Belitung Administration and various parties who give full support for the launch of the Jakarta-Tanjung Pandan round-trip route,” said Batik Air CEO Achmad Luthfie in a press release on Monday, March 26.
Luthfie said the round-trip flight will start at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, to HAS Hanandjoeddin Airport, Tanjung Pandan, Belitung. It will use the Airbus A320 CEO and Boeing 737-800NG planes.

Batik Air will serve (daily flight) with the departure schedule from Cengkareng at 06:45 and arrived in Belitung at 07:40 Western Indonesia Time.
The flight departing from Belitung is at 08:35 and scheduled to arrive at Soekarno-Hatta at 09:25. The passengers only have to spend from Rp450,000 to enjoy the route.
Luthfie added that the expansion of the route is part of Batik Air’s commitment to boost the visit to ten new Bali destinations.
The flight is expected to be a solution for tourists visiting from and to Belitung.
