TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta City-owned bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) plans to add tourism routes for Transjakarta buses during 2018 Asian Games.
“The addition of the routes is intended to facilitate athletes, coaches, officials and reporters visiting the capital city during 2018 Asian Games,” PT Transjakarta president director Budi Kaliwono said in Jakarta on Saturday (17/2).
Budi affirmed that the additional routes are only available during Asian Games. “Only in August2018," he said.
This is intended to introduce Jakarta to international visitors. The routes are added to a number of corridors including Ragunan Nature Park, Impian Jaya Ancol Park, Setu Babakan, Indonesia Indah Mini Park (TMII) and others.
The buses to use are royal or semi tour bus with complete facilities and low entry. "We will provide the best services both for athletes and tourists. We will prepare special buses," Budi went on.
