TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: In order to handle the businesses of the Indonesian Military (TNI), the government is establishing a National Team for TNI Business Transformation. This team’s duty is to handle the taking-over of businesses within the TNI.According to Juwono Sudarsono, Defense Minister, the decision to establish this team was obtained after four ministries--the Defense Department, the Finance Department, the Justice and Human Rights Department and the State Owned Enterprises Ministry--discussed the matter with the State Secretary and the Cabinet Secretary.“This is an ad hoc team,” said Juwono yesterday (17/10).The main point of scrutinizing TNI’s businesses, according to Juwono, is co-financing; incoming and outgoing transfers as also management structure. “Included in these criteria are only seven to eight companies,” he said.Dimas A and Rieka R
