TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Three state-owned enterprises, namely PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in Airport Train Project at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Solo.
“The memorandum of understanding is the foundation of planned cooperation between Angkasa Pura I and KAI as well as Adhi Karya in order to accomplish an airport train project at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Solo,” Polana B. Pramesti, acting president director of Angkasa Pura I, said Monday, October 3, in a press release as quoted by Antara.
The memorandum of understanding was signed Monday, October 2, by Angkasa Pura I acting president director Polana B. Pramesti, KAI president director Edi Sukmoro and Adhi Karya president director Budi Harto, and was witnessed by SOE Minister Rini Soemarno in Bandung.
Polana said the signing is also aimed at supporting government policy to develop rail-based transport from and to airports.
