TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Ade Komarudin said that the suicide bomb in Solo should be used as a momentum for the DPR to continue its discussion on the new Anti-Terrorism Draft Bill.
"Terrorism covers a lot of things, such as ideology, education, and religion. We need to accommodate public interest," said Ade.
Ade said that articles stipulated in the new anti-terrorism draft bill must be able to counter terrorism directly, both from the structural and intellectual aspects.
"Education is important [to prevent terrorism]. People wouldn't want blow themselves up if they hadn’t been [indoctrinated]," Ade said.
