TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - At least 68 houses in Kalibaru, Bungur district, Central Jakarta were razed by fire on Sunday at 10 am.
Based on the information from the Jakarta Mitigation Agency (BPBD), the fire destroyed 68 houses in Kalibaru.
At least two people injured in the fire and the have been rushed to Islamic Hospital in Central Jakarta. In the meantime, 291 people in 94 households were displaced by the fire.
A joint team from the Central Jakarta Disaster Management Office (KPBK), the Central Fire Department, the Indonesian Red Cross, the Indonesian National Police, and the Jakarta Social Agency have been deployed to handle the fire, including 28 fire trucks were deployed.
It was alleged that the fire was caused by electrical short circuits.
