TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahja Purnama has came to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building as witness in the case of land acquisition of Sumber Waras Hospital. Ahok admitted that he was lost on why the KPK has repeated the questions asked by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) during investigative audit previously.
“Now we want to know what the KPK wants, it’s clear that the BPK are wrong,” Ahok said at the entrance of KPK office, Tuesday, April 12, 2016. The outspoken governor was scheduled to be probed on 9:00 am.
Ahok has prepared a number of documents for today’s probe and said he was prepared to answer all questions that would be asked. He declined to respond further if he would survive the Sumber Waras scandal. “We’ll see.”
The KPK began investigation on August 20, 2015, over the alleged corruption in Sumber Waras Hospital land acquisition by Jakarta provincial government. The case first came into prominence after being revealed by the audit results of BPK Jakarta based on Jakarta government finacial statement in 2014.

The BPK had re-audited the financial statement upon the KPK request. Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama was subjected to a daylong probe by the BPK on November 23, 2015. The investigative audit results was submitted to the KPK on December 7, 2015.
