Starbucks Shut Down Outlets Across Jakarta Following Attack

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Starbucks outlets all around the capital have been temporarily closed following the a series of explosions on Jalan Thamrin, Central Jakarta on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
One of the explosions occurred in front of the Starbucks café located in the Djakarta Theatre building.
"The outlet [located at the scene of the explosion] and other Starbucks outlets in Jakarta will remain closed until further notice," Starbucks stated in its official website.
Starbucks also said that one of its customers was injured in the attack while all of the outlet employees were save and unharmed.
"We are very sad with the incident that has occurred in Jakarta today. We extend out condolences to the public," the cafe stated.
Aghnia, an employee working in Kuningan, South Jakarta, said that the Starbucks outlet located in his office was immediately closed following the attack.
