Transport Dept Seizes 15 Bajaj Vehicles in Gambir Station

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As many as 15 bajaj (three-wheeled vehicle) units were seized due to caught in standby for passengers in front of Gambir Station, Friday (8/21) as their existence disrupt the activity on the gate.
"It was a follow-up from citizens' complaints. Not only that, Transjakarta bus way is also often disrupted as those bajajs parked and turned around on the bus way," said Head of Supervision and Controlling Section for Jakarta Transportation Department.
There are three bajajs stopped and one deflated. While for the rests are given the police interrogation report (BAP) along with 10 other public transportation netted.
"Mostly, they were netted due to not bringing operation documents and not wearing uniform," he disclosed.
