TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Police's Directorate for Economic and Special Crimes searched houses and offices of three suspects involved in the alleged graft case on the purchase of oil condensate between the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Task Force (SKK Migas) and PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (PT TPPI).
The three suspects are former upstream oil and gas regulator (BP Migas) head Raden Priyono, former BP Migas deputy for economy Djoko Harsono, and TPPI founder Hongo Wendratmo.
"We're heading to the locations [of the search]," said Brig. Gen. Victor Simanjuntak, the director of Economic and Special Crimes at the National Police on Thursday, June 18, 2015.
Police also searched TPPI founder Honggo's office located at the MidPlaza building, South Jakarta. Dozens of police armed with rifles and bomb squad headed to the location.
Raden, Djoko and Honggo were named as suspects for misusing their authorities. They were charged violating laws on money laundering and corruption.
