TEMPO.CO, Kupang – Personnel from the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Prosecutor’s Office apprehended Tuesday Sri Raharjo, a graft suspect in a corruption case worth Rp43 billion involving the crooked construction of a port in Alor regency, NTT.
The personnel—comprising prosecutors Robert Jimly Lambila, Max Makolda, Kundrat Mantolas and spearheaded by information and public relations chief Ridwan Angsar—arrested Sri at private company PT Spektra Adhya Prasaran on Jl. Sidolur No. 18, Bandung, West Java.
Ridwan said the suspect had been transported from the West Java’s capital to Kupang by Lion Air aircraft and arrived at El Tari Airport at around 10 p.m. local time under the escort of his team.
Upon arriving, Sri was rushed to the prosecutor’s office for questioning. “He fled to Bandung upon his naming as a suspect,” he said.
Ridwan added Sri was implicated in a corruption case centering on the 2014 construction of a port in Alor regency.
After the questioning concluded, Sri was then sent to the Kupang Class II B Prison for a 20-day detention pending the completion of his case dossier.
