TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Jambi station of state-owned public broadcasting network and television, TVRI, received a text message on Tuesday morning, April 21, 2015 saying there is a bomb in the office, ready to go off.
TVRI's news station Zumeni Gani said the text came at 8:56 am local time from someone claiming to be a member of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
"After reading the SMS I immediately instructed all employees to exit the building, and then called the police," he told Tempo.
A half hour later, Jambi Police's bomb squad arrived and searched the vicinity for about two hours. They found no bomb, nor anything that looked suspicious.
