TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bekasi Mayor Rahmat Effendi said that the capital spending on Regional Budget 2015 that reaches Rp2.3 Trillion is yet to suffice the need. “We need more than Rp7 trillion," said Rahmat.
He said that capital spending can only cover 30 percent of next year’s plan. In 2015, he claimed that Bekasi has three priorities, namely education (Rp1.3 trillion), Bina Marga and Water Supply Agency (Rp700 billion), and improvement on Regional Hospital of Bekasi.
Rahmat has instructed that all officials to prepare using the budget. He warned that officials must run trimester program on its schedule.
Moreover, Head of Bekasi Local House, Tumai, said that approval on Regional Budget 2015 takes time, given the new administration. "The composition will be 39 percent for official spending and 61 percent for public spending," said Tumai.
