TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – PT Astra International will present One Indonesia Concert themed Salute to Guruh Soekarno Putra on Wednesday, November 26 at the Jakarta Convention Center.
The concert, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. will be dedicated to the Indonesian youths who have promoted the national culture and displayed their love for their country through their musical works.
Guruh, the last child of ex-president Soekarno, introduced the cabaret show to the country in the 70s through his musical group, Swara Mahardhika, which later transformed into Gencar Semarak Perkasa.
A string of top artists emerged from the group, including Titi DJ, Deni Malik, Dewi Gita, Memes, Irianti Erningpraja, Euis Dahlia and Rico Tampatty.
“Astra want to inspire Indonesian youths so that they can keep on creating thing in all fields that they are fond of, to contribute to the nation’s progress, just like what Guruh Soekarno Putra did with his works,” PT Astra International Tbk. chief of corporate communications, social responsibility and security, Pongki Pamungkas, told a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The concert will feature 25 songs made by Guruh, including Zamrud Khatulistiwa, Kembalikan Baliku, Galih dan Ratna and Gita Cinta dari SMA.
Two thousand seats are available for the concert in six categories: Tribune Green, Tribune Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Tickets will be sold beginning October 29 on dyandraticket.net, with prices ranging from Rp450,000 to Rp1,300,000.
