TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Around 40 countries, including 10 Arab countries, are scheduled to hold talks on strategy to combat the Islamic State (ISIS).
BBC reported yesterday that the meeting would be held in Paris, France on Monday or Tuesday Indonesian time.
The meeting is held after a video that shows the beheading of British citizen David Haines was released by IS. French President Francois Hollande said the beheading of the humanitarian worker shows that the world must take action against ISIS.
France has stated that they will join the UK to conduct aerial reconnaissance in Iraq. The UK already sent jets and surveillance aircraft last August.
US officials also said some Arab countries had offered to take part in the airstrikes against ISIS.
