"The president has stated his support to Mahmoud’s attempts to stop violence, so the International public will provide humanitarian aid."
SBY has previously contacted United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Non-Aligned Movement (GNB) chief Hassan Rouhani.
The communication was to urge the world to take actions for the country’s independence and peace. Moreover, SBY is still attempting to communicate with American president Barrack Obama to participate in the effort.
According to Minister Marty, the foreign ministry also continues to endeavor in diplomatic ways in Geneva, Switzerland, and New York, the United States. Indonesia is attempting to bring a ceasefire in Israel and Palestine, and convene a peace talk. This is based on air and land attacks in Gaza that have killed hundreds of civilians.
