TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Researcher at Indonesia Survey Institute (LSI) Adjie Alfaraby, stated that Jokowi's rising electability poses a positive impact. Moreover, media reportings on Jokowi mostly speak of positive matters.
"Media reportings, both personal and institutional, contain positive sentiment," said Adjie, "No wonder if his electability rises so fast."
Adjie then mentioned that small parties will be having a difficult time to sign Jokowi, as the person is bound by commitment to Indonesian Democratic Party Struggle (PDIP). However, Adjie mentioned that small parties can look up to the figure of Yusril Ihza Mahendra in PBB, as voters tend to support Yusril instead of the party. He also added that small parties can boost the vote by their legislative candidates, endorsing popularity in their respective regions.
