TEMPO.CO, Depok - Depok Police chief Sr. Comr. Achmad Kartiko said the police had identified the perpetrators who shot First Brigadier Ruslan Kusuma on Friday last week.
“We have got their physical characteristics. We have probed seven witnesses and the victim,” Achmad told Tempo on Sunday, September 15, 2013. He refused to detail the findings due to investigation purposes. “Later. Our team is still in pursuit of the assailants,” he said.
First Brigadier Rulan Kusuma, member of the police’s rapid response sabhara unit, was shot by an identified perpetrator in his left foot in Cimanggis, Depok, at around 18.45 on Friday, September 13.
Ruslan has undergone a surgery at the police’s hospital in Kramat Jati to remove the fragments of the bullet, which went through his leg. The police will charge the assailants under article 365 of the Criminal Code on violent theft.
After shooting Ruslan, the perpetrators took his black-orange Kawasaki Ninja motorbike with license plate number B 3333 ELO.
