TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police will examine closed circuit television (CCTV) recordings in all buildings on Jl. Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta to investigate the shooting of Brigadier Head Bripka Sukardi. Sukardi was shot dead in front of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s office.
"KPK has given permission to access their CCTV," Jakarta Police spokesman Commissioner Rikwanto said yesterday.
In order to capture the movement of the shooters, the police have also investigated 11 witnesses. Among them are vendors, KPK security guard and truck drivers escorted by Sukardi.
There were three bullets nesting in his chest and abdomen. He was dead on scene and his corpse was brought to Polri Kramat Jati Hospital for autopsy. The police have not yet announced the result.
