TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Police have made facial sketches of two men supected pf shooting police officers in South Tangerang. The sketched was made based on the testimony of five witnesses.
The first offender was described as a male in his 30s, long-haired, big-nosed, fat and 170 cm in height. The second shooter is depicted as a thin man in the age of 27 years old, with curly hair, dark skin and nearly equal height as the first shooter.
Armed with a sketch of the perpetrators' faces and the motorcycle that was left at the crime scene, the police believe they would soon solve the case.
"We are optimistic that the case will quickly be revealed." Jakarta Police spokesman, Commissioner Rikwanto said on Sunday.
Comr. Agus Rianto of the National Police Headquarters said the Pondok Aren shooting has a similar M.O. as the shootings in Cirendeu, East Ciputat, and Sari Asih Hospital, Ciputat. The first shooting incident left officer Fatah Saktiyono injured. The second incident killed officer Dwiyatna.
