TEMPO.CO, Bogor - The Bogor Resort Police has increased surveillance in the borderline regions following a series of shootings that targeted police officers in South Tangerang.
"We have also ordered all police stations in Bogor Regency to conduct a search on boarding houses, sublets and rented properties," Bogor Police Chief Adj. Comr. Asep Safrudin said Sunday, August 18.
Two members of the Pondok Aren Police Sector were shot by an unknown man at Graha Raya road Friday night, August 16. Both officers were killed by gunshots wound to the head.
Last month, a Gambit traffic police, Adj. Second Insp. Patah Satiyono was shot in Cirendeu Raya Road, also in South Tangerang. Patah was shot when leaving his house to work. A similar event befell First Adj. Insp. Dwiyatna from the Cilandak Sectoral Police who was shot when leaving for work.
