TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The improvement by some regional stock exchanges and the oil price increase to US$ 72/barrel have been able to trigger an index increase after three days of decreases.In the last trade, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) of Indonesia Stock Exchange increased by 13.913 points (0.56 percent) to a level of 2,489.485. The index had fallen to a level of 2,439.9 before this positive close.An analyst from Millenium Danatama Sekuritas, Abidin, explained that concern about European debt and deficit put pressure on the stock exchange in the morning session. But the improvement of some Asian stock exchanges, pioneered by the Hong Kong stock exchange, could push the indexs movement into the positive zone in the second session. So the index could close in the positive zone, he said.According to Abidin, it is predicted today that the index could still strengthen from the technical side.
